18th July, 2023. The UCD Centre for Digital Policy is offering a series of visiting fellowships for researchers with an interest in digital policy, ranging from a week to one month in duration. We subscribe to an interdisciplinary and multi-stakeholder ethos to centre those that are most impacted by new technologies. We believe that regulation must be deliberative, emergent, and iterative, with sociocultural values at its core. We research, publish, consult, and advise in areas of toxic content, platform affordances, public perceptions of AI, human rights and legal architectures. We are seeking scholars to build on our existing expertise, broaden our vision, and contribute to our Centre networks. A seminar, guest lecture, grant application, and/or publication are desired outputs.

Our Centre will cover travel expenses and offers 1000 Euro per week towards costs for accommodation, together with an office space for the duration of the fellowship. For further information, please send an email to Centre Director, Dr. Elizabeth Farries (elizabeth.farries@ucd.ie).

Closing date for applications for 23/24 academic year: 1st September 2023.
