Workshop “Vetted Researchers Access: Navigating Article 40 DSA”

20.5.2025. The Centre is delighted to announce an upcoming workshop, hosted in collaboration with Coimisiún na Meán, entitled “Vetted Researcher Access – Navigating Article 40 DSA.”

As researchers across Europe, and internationally, are planning to navigate the Vetted Researcher application process under Article 40 of the Digital Services Act (DSA), we invite participants to join us for a practical workshop aimed at introducing the Vetted Researcher process, setting expectations, and identifying challenges within the Irish research ecosystem. This session is designed for academic researchers across disciplines and policy specialists in a variety of digital policy fields including digital rights, platforms, and technology governance.

Speakers include:
• Naoise McNally – Director of Research & Strategy, Coimisiún na Meán

• Kirty Park – Assistant Director of Research at Coimisiún na Meán

• Elizabeth Farries and Eugenia Siapera – Directors, UCD Centre for Digital Policy and lecturers in UCD School of Information and Communication Studies.
