AILife+ Webpage Launch

22.07.2026. The AILife+ webpage has officially been launched at UCD,  with centre members Dr Stefanie Havelka acting as PI, Dr Sun Park and Dr Courtney Ford as co-invesitagtors, and Dr Claire McGuinness, Dr Páraic Kerrigan, and Dr Elizabeth Farries acting as co-researchers.

The project, funded by Research Ireland New Foundations and in partnership with Independent Living Movement Ireland (ILMI), combines this interdisciplinary cohort with the intentions of buildingn a national AI literacy framework, practical workshops and rights-based digital education focused on disabled people’s experience and needs. As they state:

“Its objective is to develop an inclusive framework that enables disabled people in Ireland to harness the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance workforce readiness. As AI continues to transform work, education, and public life, this project addresses the urgent need for AI literacy that is accessible, equitable, and grounded in the rights, experiences, and aspirations of disabled people.”
