9 May 2024. Don’t miss out on this upcoming event: Creating an Irish Science, Technology and Society Community: an Unconference organized by UCD ICS’s Prof Kalpana Shankar and Christo Jacob.

With the support of the European Association for the Study of Science and Technology (EASST) Network Fund, this groundbreaking day-long unconference guarantees to connect a broad range of STS scholars and researchers. The unconference will act as a space for attendees and members to organize an agenda and breakout discussion panels to detail potential research focuses and future content. 

Keynote speakers will include Georgia Tech’s Prof Cassidy Sugimoto and Maynooth University’s Prof Rob Kitchin.

Taking place 25 June 2024 in the Museum of Modern Literature (MoLI) and online, this exciting conference promises to bring together multidisciplinary and cross-institutional groups to foster an all-Ireland STS community and you could be part of it!
