Hunter Vaughan is Senior Research Associate at the Minderoo Centre for Technology and Democracy, University of Cambridge. Dr. Vaughan is the author and editor of numerous books and articles, including Hollywood’s Dirtiest Secret: the Hidden Environmental Costs of the Movies (2019) and the collection Film and Television Production in the Age of Climate Crisis (co-editor with Pietari Kaapa, 2022). He is founding editor (with Meryl Shriver-Rice) of the Journal of Environmental Media , co-Director of the AHRC-funded Global Green Media Network, and co-PI (with Nicole Starosielski) on the Sustainable Subsea Networks project.
