Local News as Propaganda: Precarization and Media Control in Qinghai News

July 2023. Our Centre Team Member Marco Bastos has co-authored an article highlighting how a Chinese local news outlet is used for state propaganda. The in-depth interviews conducted with staff members of the local news outlet Qinghai News has brought to the fore the underlying reasons and enabelers.
