Dr Ioanna Noula and Dr Tijana Milosevic

2.10.2024. Centre members Dr Ioanna Noula and Dr Tijana Milosevic have released a response to a Consultation Call on the Digital Serivces Act (DSA) regarding the privacy, safety and security of minors on social media. The response considers the priorities of the UN and EU regarding the rights of the child and is particularly concerned with modes of redress and with content modertion systems and algorithmic design that often rely on AI and other opaque functions, as well as implementations and the poential for transformative outcomes.
